Maybe I Dun Want A Damn Title
When spirits move on
What's left in their place?
The sun meets the earth
And it shines on your face
A beauty so breathtaking
Light bouncing off the snow
Making your eyes so bright
And you don't even know
I'm falling so fast
And I'm almost not scared
Said I wouldn't let this happen
I thought I was prepared...
Things are lost
And people grow old
But if we just keep warm
We can make it through the cold.
Recycled dreams and torn heart seams,
So dark in truth, but outwardly beams.
Ask of her heart, and her eyes will dart
Her time is done, she played her part.
The little lies and unseen cries,
Most can't tell from a couple of sighs.
Staying strong but won't move on.
Her eyes won't shut until the dawn.
I know too well, how hard she fell.
And how, for him, her soul she'd sell.
